Its important for businesses to understand that not all décor suits every brand. So when it comes to brand events, its important to think what brand is, how you want to be perceived by your audience and the goal of this event.

From there, it is easier to decide what décor suits your needs and goals the best to get the most out of your event.

So how do you know what décor is meant for your event I hear you ask?

It comes back to asking your self these 3 questions before you event planning even begins to understand the purpose, aims and goals for event for it to be deemed a success and for the right décor to be created to help make the goals more achievable.

1) What is the Purpose of your event?

Visibility, Engagement, Footfall, Appreciation are just some of the reasons as to why you are hosting this event.

A launch event means your main purpose would be visibility of the new product as well as getting current and new people to engage with the brand, where as a community event is more focused on appreciating your current customers and being visible to new customers.

Its important to know what your purpose is as this is the foundation of your event. Without a purpose, there is no event.

2) What are goals are you are looking to achieve for this event?

Setting goals is what defines the success of your event and is a driver to what décor you have for your event. From the purpose, the goal are what help you stay on the right path to making sure that purpose is still at the forefront.

3) Why are you hosting this event?

Now this may similar to question 1 but your purpose is what your event is aiming to do, this question is asking why this event. This to help you think deeper about if this event is the best way to achieve what you want to achieve.

For example, is having Pilates event the best way to launch a new drink brand? If it is a post workout drink or linked to wellness and healthy living, then 100%.

The purpose and goals can be clear, but if it isn't the best way to do it, it may be time to go back to the drawing board.
